Built again from the ground up, the Unbound 40 and 55 were made for thru hikers and long-distance backpackers. The updated build uses Dyneema® Woven Composite 3.9, and the result is a pack that's lighter and stronger than the originals while carrying more comfortably.
Two contoured stays can be pulled out when you want to shed weight, and the refined hip belt plus wider, more naturally curved shoulder straps hold up better under a heavy load. Internal seam taping and low-profile sewn-in daisy chains keep the outside clean and the whole pack more functional. Need to strap on trekking poles or an oversized water bottle? The fully removable, customizable compression system takes care of it.
Trail-proven details carry over too: a dual-entry front pocket, a bottom pocket, the V-Pull hip belt, and side bottle pockets you can actually reach while walking.
