Ski Rescue Tarp Emergency Sled and Shelter for Backcountry Skiers

Developed with members of the American Mountain Guide Association, the Ski Rescue Tarp is safety equipment you can use more than once. Backcountry skiers carry it to move an injured partner toward medical attention, and it doubles as a protective ground cover or a quickly pitched shelter when the weather turns. Compact when packed, it's built for remote, snowy trips.

Key FEATURES

• Reinforced haul loops, webbing handles and dedicated ski slots turn the tarp into a gurney-like framework for secure patient movement across snowy terrain.
• Made with ALUULA Durlyte fabric, which carries the same durable properties as a ski base and keeps performing in harsh conditions.
• In an emergency it pitches fast as a shelter, so you get cover from the elements.
