Straps go missing, and some packs simply need a second one across the chest. This adjustable sternum strap is the same design that ships as standard on our larger packs, and it slots onto the Stuff Pack or Summit Pack as a handy addition or a straight replacement.
Self-tensioning elastic takes up the slack as you move, so the strap holds the setting you gave it. There's a whistle molded into the side-release buckle — a tiny thing that earns its keep the day you need to get someone's attention from across a valley.
